Parallel importing allows Kiwis to get goods from the rest of the world at a fair price. The TPP could end all that by giving foreign companies the power to control who can sell their goods here. This means they could sell cheaply overseas, but mark up the price for Kiwis. We don’t think that’s a fair deal, do you? We know that NZ’s negotiators are trying to get us a fair deal, so let’s stand behind them. Tell the Minister that you want New Zealand to stay strong, and not to settle for anything less than a fair deal on the TPP.
